Allan Chappell

Allan grew up in a small desert town called Pecos in west Texas. He was one of the first two in town to ever letter in Computer Science in high school. He then relocated to Dallas to go to UTD for Computer Science and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University in 2010.

Allan now resides in a small town called Forney, located east of Dallas. He has been programming in PHP since 2003 and became involved with the Drupal community in late 2008 (back in the good, ol’ Drupal 5 days). He’s the proud maintainer of two modules: Views Natural Sort and CiviCRM User Merge. He also co-maintains several others.

His specialty is in the DevOps realm automated testing, automated code delivery, and continuous integration. Even with all that technology under his belt, he still considers himself a country boy. His interests range from raising rabbits and chickens to hiking and kayaking. Don’t be surprised if one day you catch him on his computer on the shore of Lake Ray Hubbard.
